Invertor

I am confused, not unusual. I have a Great West Conversion Van, 3500 Dodge. It is a classic.
I do not uderstand why my interior lights can be turned on, with the invertor off. I am not connected to 110 at the house.
I thought that nothing would work, including outlets if the invertor was off.
If I turn on the invertor I do not get any 110 power to my coffee maker, nor the microwave.
The invertor itself is under one of the dining area benches. I do not know the make of the invertor, however it does have a socket like a wall outlet with a plug into the end of it. I cannot tell where this wire goes to. When on the small on light comes on, so I am assuming that it working.
I am a newbie and unfamiliar with the electrical system.
Thanks in advance to anyone answering my call for help. Bob

X-antrex Invertor

I have an 01 Great West Van Classic, dodge 3500 van.
The x-amtrax invertor has started a high pitch screech. I cannot get it to stop. There appears to be also a fan blowing.
Is there some kind of adjustment that can be done?
I have also used the cheap method and tapped on the invertor to see if I could get it to stop. No luck.
I have also unplugged the invertor and let it sit for a few minutes. No luck there either.
Maybe it is just worn out.
Appreciate any ideas
Is x-amtrax a good invertor?
A thank you to all that have helped me in the past and those that reply to my latest plea for help.
Thanks --- Bob

20 foot Great West Classic

I am thinking of buying a 2001 Great West.It has all the necessary equipment, private toilet/sink. Air. TV, hitch. Haven't seen it yet but wondering what range I should be paying for it. It is supposed to be in good condition with 70,000.
I tried nada and couldn't up with anything.
He is asking 21995. I am scheduled for tomorrow drive it. It is a small engine I believe, but cannot remember what he said, will knw tomorrow.
One consideration is the height, my car port is nine feet one inch. I am certain it won't fiat
What is your opinion of Great West and the price range?
I was set on a pleasure way, but this came up and is tempting me so far.
This sight has helped me a number of times, and I want to thank those that have answered my emails
Great site, great people. Thanks for your opion. Bob

RE: Death Valley trip from Portland, Oregon

A big thank you to persons answering my Portland to Death Valley trip.
I neglected to ask about some rv campgrounds that you have stayed at and would recommend. Just my wife and I are traveling and would probably stay at a sight for two or three days.
It is my understanding that the only hookup site is at Stovepipe Wells, so that is where we will stay.
Thanks for your responses, feel free to add any additional information you feel is needed for this trip
Thanks Bob/ Roadtrek 190P

To: Smilesmi or anyone else. Where were you able to find the table that has four sides that can fold down. I would like to mount the floor plate up front some how so that I have a table in that area to use the front swivel seats to eat or work at the table while wife works at the table in the back. Thanks Bob
